Pilot project launched in Barcelona

Pilot project site: Park Güell

On October 28th, our CTO, Dorine Duives visited Barcelona to launch a pilot Cityflows project, funded by The EIT Urban Mobility, in cooperation with The International University of Catalonia (UIB) and The Barcelona city council. The project implements our crowd monitoring service at several locations in Barcelona, collecting real-time crowd data with on-site sensors and wireless tags, visualising and analysing the collected data to provide decision support for crowd management. With the state-of-the-art crowd monitoring technology, we help improve the safety and comfort experienced by citizens and create more liveable urban spaces.
